Mr. Greg Nwakogo is a transactional lawyer with expertise in Banking Law, Communications Law, Intellectual Property, Energy Law, Commercial Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is an experienced negotiator, mediator and arbitrator.
He represents organizations in his capacity as Barrister and Solicitor in negotiations of complex paper work necessary to running and owning a business, as well as those involved in investments and divestments, mergers and acquisitions, financial and investment management transactions, Public Private Partnerships, as well as stocks and securities transactions.
Mr. Nwakogo is an Executive Committee Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) Nigeria Branch. He is also a member of Regional Representative for Africa, Middle East and Turkey of the International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC YAF). He is also a member of the Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators.
He holds a certificate in Company Secretary and Board Effectiveness from the Lagos Business School, Pan-African University. He is a recipient of the Excellence Award by Nigerian Top Executives where he was rated in the top 4 percent of all Nigerian Executives in the Law, Legal and Information Services Industry in the 2015 Publication and Rating. He was also named in 2016 at the ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards as one of the 40 Leading Nigerian Lawyers under 40 who will shape the future of the Legal Profession in Nigeria. He is a columnist on legal issues in THISDAY newspaper, as well as a regular speaker at domestic and international conferences.
